Advancing women’s leadership across the Australian horticultural sector (LP16000)

Key research provider: Women & Leadership Australia (WLA)
Publication date: Thursday, January 27, 2022

What was it all about?

Spanning from 2016 to 2021, this investment provided women in the horticulture industry the opportunity to apply for leadership development courses. The project offered 100 jointly funded scholarships across three Women & Leadership Australia’s development programs:

  • 50 Early career and aspiring leaders’ scholarships
  • 25 Intermediate level leaders’ scholarships
  • 25 Senior and executive level leaders’ scholarships

The courses on offer were provided by Women & Leadership Australia and include Leading EdgeExecutive Ready and the Advanced Leadership Program. Each course was targeted at a different experience level and provided participants with skills such as how to heighten presence and influence, manage team dynamics, drive performance and lead innovation and change.

More information can be found on the WLA website.
