                        What's it all about?
The generation of pesticide residue, efficacy and crop safety data is required to support label registration and minor use permit applications made to the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) which, when approved, provide access to safe and effective chemicals for the management of pests, weeds and diseases.
Supported by grant funding through the Australian Government’s Access to Industry Priority Uses of AgVet Chemicals program, this project will support new label uses for:
- Sivanto Prime Bayer for the control of green stink bug, green vegetable bug and cottonseed in blueberries, raspberries and blackberries, Rutherglen bug and green/brown mirids in strawberries, and Mediterranean fruit fly and Queensland fruit fly in stone fruits (excluding cherries)
- Adavelt (GF-4536) Corteva for the control of septoria leaf spot and sclerotinia rot in fennel bulbs and early blight and cercospora leaf spot in celery.
