Export Registration Portal – Summerfruit (SF25003)

This project will develop an online export registration portal to streamline the complex compliance requirements for summerfruit exports from Australia. The portal will serve as a single touchpoint for growers, packers, crop monitors, and Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) auditors, integrating with the crop monitoring app to automate data uploads and facilitate desktop audits, scheduling, and certification.  

The initiative aims to reduce administrative burden, minimise errors, and improve efficiency for up to 100 summerfruit businesses annually, while providing DAFF and Summerfruit Australia with better tools for monitoring, reporting, and industry insights. The portal will support mandatory export registration, benefit all users through improved design and support, and enable data-driven decision-making for industry and R&D priorities.
