This project, which ran from 2013 to 2015, focused on maintaining and improving communication with Australian papaya growers and other industry stakeholders. Keeping the industry up to date on R&D and marketing activities, news, issues, events and other information is critical. It assists growers and others along the supply chain by raising awareness of industry challenges and opportunities, supporting decision-making and improving the uptake of new research and technology.
A number of regular communication channels were produced and maintained as part of this project, including The Papaya Post hard-copy newsletter, the Papaya Australia website, which was developed under this project, and more.
This project was a strategic levy investment in the Hort Innovation Papaya Fund
