Exploring AI Applications for the Vegetable Industry (VG24008)

This project aims to identify and prioritise high-impact opportunities for artificial intelligence (AI) within Australia’s vegetable sector. Led by RMCG and the Australian Regional AI Network (ARAIN), the initiative will engage growers and supply chain stakeholders to ensure AI solutions are tailored to real-world challenges. Through structured workshops and feasibility analysis, the project will deliver a roadmap for future AI development focused on forecasting, precision agriculture, automation, and supply chain optimisation. 

The outcomes will support increased industry understanding and adoption of AI technologies, helping growers improve productivity, profitability, and sustainability through smarter resource management and decision-making.
