What was it all about?

This investment supported the role and activities of the Vegetable Industry Biosecurity Advisor at AUSVEG from 2015 through 2018. The advisor provided all necessary biosecurity support for the industry body including technical support, representing the industry in a number of official forums, and communicating relevant technical information on biosecurity to growers.

The advisor was Dr Kevin Clayton-Greene, who provided updates to industry via the ‘Biosecurity Brief’ column and other articles in the levy-funded Vegetables Australia magazine, as well as through biosecurity email alerts and more.  You can still sign up for biosecurity alerts from AUSVEG on this website (sign-up at the top of the page), where you can also find more information on vegetable-industry biosecurity work.
