Integrated pest management of Phytophagous mites in turfgrass (TU17003)

This investment was established in 2018 to investigate how an integrated pest management (IPM) approach might be used to tackle the issue of Phytophagous mites in turf production.
In April 2019, following discussions with the project team and the turf Strategic Investment Advisory Panel, the investment drew to a close early. This was because, in investigating the prevalence and management of mites, the researchers and industry concluded they are in fact sporadic pests that are most practically managed using currently available miticides.
This project was a strategic levy investment in the Hort Innovation Turf Fund
