What was it all about?

This investment delivered a crisis management plan for the sweetpotato industry that identified risks and options for mitigation. In the event of an issue or crisis, having a clear plan in place will ensure the sweetpotato industry is prepared with the information and processes needed to respond effectively, responsibly, and in a coordinated, unified way.

The management guidelines and the relevant training this project delivered also ensure that stakeholders involved in crisis response for the industry understand the process and are equipped and ready to be involved if an event or situation should arise.
