Protected cropping – review of research and identification of R&D gaps for levied vegetables (VG16083)

Key research provider: Colo Consulting
Publication date: Monday, December 17, 2018

What was it all about?

This project set out to better understand the R&D needs of the levy-paying component of the protected cropping sector. It involved an extensive literature review and gap analysis of protected cropping research needs. Light levels and condition, root zone management, biostimulates, pollination and the real-time monitoring of plant conditions were just some of the research gaps identified as part of the project, and were set to inform future investments in the protected cropping space.
