Potatoes Australia (PT12019)
What was it all about?
Potatoes Australia is the flagship print communication tool funded through the industry levy. The overall objectives of the magazine are to present R&D findings in an easy-to-understand manner, and to interpret and condense the key elements of new research, projects, news and events for potato levy payers and other stakeholders.
Over the life of the project, which ran from 2012 to 2016, 21 editions of Potatoes Australia were published in hard copy format and made available for download from the AUSVEG website. Each edition was distributed to about 3,000 readers across the country. By reaching such a large audience, the magazine provided a greater understanding of R&D performed in key areas, such as pest and disease management and best farming practices for the entire industry.
