Review of nursery industry biosecurity program (NY24005)

This project will deliver an independent evaluation of the five-year ‘National biosecurity and sustainable plant production program’ for the nursery sector. It will assess the program’s relevance, effectiveness, transparency, and return on investment to levy payers and the broader industry. Activities include desktop review, stakeholder consultation, thematic analysis, and a high-level ROI assessment. 

For growers and industry stakeholders, the review will provide evidence-based insights to guide future program design and delivery. Findings will support improved monitoring frameworks and identify opportunities to enhance biosecurity and sustainable production outcomes, ensuring future initiatives are efficient, targeted, and aligned with industry needs.
