Nursery Emerging Leaders Program (NY24004)

Summary:   

The Nursery Strategic Investment Plan 2022-26 has identified a need to strengthen industry skills and leadership through targeted training, leadership development and a career pathway program for the nursery industry.  

This project contributes to this by equipping and encouraging emerging and aspiring leaders with the right knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed decisions about their business, help shape industry strategy and enter nursery industry leadership roles, through the development of a leadership program. 

The leadership program will be designed and developed to meet the specific needs of the Australian nursery industry across the entire supply chain, from seedling production (across the different sectors such as ornamental, landscape and production) to retail. The intention is to deliver the program to three cohorts of 12-15 participants across a three-year period. 

Delivering improved capability and fostering an innovative culture in the Nursery industry, this project will have ongoing impact on the productivity and success of the industry.
