    What was it all about?

    This project sponsored the 2022 International Plant Propagators’ Society (IPPS) conference. IPPS is a global network of professionals with an interest in plant production, including horticultural research and education, with the aim to improve the knowledge, skills, productivity and professionalism of its members.

    Through sponsoring the event, levy-funded research and development from the Hort Innovation Nursery Fund was shared with attendees, including a significant group of growers from the nursery industry.

    The project demonstrated how residential streets can be redesigned with green infrastructure to improve resilience to heatwaves, drought and flooding, while creating safer and more liveable communities.

    This project is equipping and encouraging emerging and aspiring leaders with the right knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed decisions about their business, help shape industry strategy and enter nursery industry leadership roles, through the development of a leadership program.
