    What was it all about?

This project, which ran from 2017 to 2019, aimed to provide a vehicle for extension of the 202020 Vision project outputs to key nursery industry stakeholders. The 202020 Vision initiative aims to increase urban green space by 20 per cent by the year 2020, and is supported through Hort Innovation Nursery Fund marketing activities.

Specific activities of this awareness and training program included:

    • Delivery of monthly e-newsletters to growers with updates on the 202020 Vision – sign up to the grower-specific ‘How’s it growing?’ e-newsletters here(scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your details). Twenty editions were sent out over the course of the project.

    • Production of content for the regular 202020 Vision spread that appears in Hort Journal issues and content and grower resources relating the 202020 Vision, made available on the initiative’s Growers’ Hub here. Twenty articles were published in all.

    • Delivery of talks and workshops, with details of upcoming events circulated in Nursery & Garden Industry Australia channels. The team delivered four national industry workshops on the 202020 Vision, eight retail nursery workshops,

In addition, the team liaised with key stakeholders to extend the 202020 Vision.
