This project, which ran from 2013 to 2015, funded a suite of activities to drive industry development, market access and capacity building, based on the Nursery Production Farm Management System (Nursery Production FMS). It delivered education and awareness around the industry accreditation schemes under the FMS, including EcoHort, Biosecure HACCP and the Nursery Industry Accreditation Scheme Australia (NIASA) Best Management Practice program.
The project supported reviews of the guideline documents, checklists and other materials for the three FMS components, developed educational materials for growers and other nursery industry stakeholders, and had other roles to play including maintaining the FMS’s audit management system.
This project was a strategic levy investment in the Hort Innovation Nursery Fund
