Hort Innovation is responsible for investing the dried grape marketing levy into a range of activities to grow awareness and consumption – with a particular focus on export markets – under the Hort Innovation Dried Grape Fund.
The industry’s new, multi-year marketing plan has now been finalised with industry, covering 2018 to 2020. Activities for 2018 look set to kick off in April, to drive growth in the priority export markets of Asia. At the time of writing, Hort Innovation was working to appoint service providers for these and other international trade promotion events.
Planning for the first public relations (PR) strategy for the industry in many years is also underway. Look for details in future editions of Hortlink as they’re confirmed.
