AV22016 mid-term evaluation (AV25009)

This project will conduct a mid-term evaluation of the ‘Avocado industry supply and trade data capture and analysis’ (AV22016) project. The evaluation aims to assess both the delivery activities (including relevance, process appropriateness, and efficiency) and the benefits and outcomes achieved so far for the Australian avocado industry. By reviewing project documentation, engaging stakeholders across the supply chain, and applying best-practice evaluation methods, the project will provide evidence-based recommendations to guide continuous improvement for the remainder of AV22016’s delivery period to 2028.  

The evaluation will focus on how industry data platforms support business and industry planning, supply forecasting, and strategic decision-making. Outputs will include a final mid-term evaluation report, stakeholder engagement notes, and recommendations prioritised for action, all designed to help Hort Innovation, Avocados Australia Limited, and industry stakeholders optimise the value and impact of avocado supply and trade data collection and reporting.
