Summary:  

This project aims to build a comprehensive knowledge base to guide best practices in chemical use and resistance management for the avocado industry. It will identify agrichemical options for key pests and diseases, evaluate suites of post-harvest treatments of fruit rot, and develop a robust resistance management strategy for growers.

The outcomes will support the industry's long-term goals of resilience, competitiveness, and sustainability, aligning with the objectives of the strategic investment plan. Findings will be communicated through targeted extension activities to ensure adoption across the supply chain and lasting impact for the avocado industry.
