What was it all about? 

This project was responsible for the industry’s 2016 national conference, a key opportunity for growers and other industry stakeholders to access new information and to network with peers and experts. In this year the conference had a theme of Ensuring a Sustainable Future for the Mushroom Industry and was held in Mildura, Victoria on October 13-15.

The conference included a Farm Walk Day at Merbein Mushrooms and presentations on key topics including the future of pesticide use, food safety, quality assurance and pest and disease management in mushrooms. There were also presentations on organics, marketing, the work of Hort Innovation and more.
