Ongoing project
Horticulture trade data 2026–2028 (MT25011)
This project is providing the Australian horticulture sector with high‑quality global trade intelligence.
Completed project
Apple and pear crop estimate (AP16002)
Publication date: October 18, 2021
Delivery Partner: AgFirst and Fruit Help
© 2026 Horticulture Innovation Australia Limited.
Running from 2016 to 2021, this project delivered apple and pear crop estimates for each season. The detailed estimates provided information on the volume, quality and likely fruit size profiles of national crops which could be used by growers, packers, marketers and the industry at large to plan more effectively and maximise the value of the crops.
More information of the crop estimates can be accessed through the APAL website and information on the project was also communicated to the apple and pear industry’s levy-paying growers and marketers via the National apple and pear grower communications program (AP18000).
This project was a strategic levy investment in the Hort Innovation Apple and Pear Fund
