National cherry development program (CY12023)

Key research provider: Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture
Publication date: Tuesday, June 27, 2017

What was it all about?

This program ran from mid-2013 to May 2017 to support growers and other industry participants in taking advantage of levy funded R&D outcomes, to engage researchers with regional issues and grower-collaborators, and to build collaborative links between state associations, agencies and private providers.

It delivered stakeholder communication and education through an annual roadshow program.

Annual events included site visits to cherry blocks to view and discuss demonstrations of research outcomes put into practice.
