Australian horticulture unites at Asia Fruit Logistica 2026
Publication date: August 31, 2026

Australian horticulture will show a unified presence at Asia Fruit Logistica 2026 this week, with growers, exporters and industry organisations coming together to showcase the quality, diversity and capability of Australian produce to buyers from across Asia.
The Australia Pavilion, hosted by Horticulture Innovation Australia, brings together 11 exhibitors from across the Australian horticulture industry and is the third largest country exhibit at the event. Designed to support a coordinated national presence in-market, the Pavilion enables Australian participants to connect directly with buyers and stakeholders from across Asia.
As Asia’s leading fresh produce trade exhibition, Asia Fruit Logistica provides a valuable opportunity for Australian businesses to build relationships, better understand customer preferences and gain insights into emerging trends shaping future demand across the region.
Horticulture Innovation Australia Chief Executive Officer Brett Fifield said Asia Fruit Logistica remained an important platform for Australian horticulture to strengthen relationships and build industry connections: “Asia Fruit Logistica creates valuable opportunities for Australian horticulture to engage directly with buyers, customers and industry leaders from across Asia.”
“Engaging directly in market helps growers and exporters better understand customer expectations, emerging trends and future opportunities, while showcasing the quality and capability of Australian produce. Our continued investment in these activities reflects the importance we place on maintaining strong relationships across Asia, supporting long-term trade and growth opportunities for Australian horticulture.”
Rebecca Blackman, Executive Manager at WA Farm Direct, said Asia Fruit Logistica remained an important event for the Australian horticulture industry: “We've been exhibiting at Asia Fruit Logistica for many years, and it continues to be a valuable opportunity to connect with customers, strengthen relationships and explore opportunities across international markets.
“Having the opportunity to engage directly with buyers in one location provides valuable insights into market needs and helps build the strong commercial relationships that underpin our long-term export growth.”
The event follows a series of industry engagement activities across China and reflects a broader commitment to supporting Australian growers and exporters in key international markets.
Through initiatives such as the Australia Pavilion, Australian horticulture continues to strengthen its presence in international markets while supporting growers and exporters to build meaningful commercial relationships across the region.
Growers, exporters and industry organisations interested in participating in the Australia Pavilion at Asia Fruit Logistica 2027 are encouraged to connect with our team on the stand during the week.
