2019 Masterclass Scholarships and Placements Up For Grabs

ARE YOU a professional working in the horticulture industry who wants to take their career to the next level?
No matter what your level of expertise, no matter what your ambition, the Masterclass In Horticultural Business is a flexible program tailored to your needs, designed by some of horticulture’s best from around the world.
The course is delivered by the University of Tasmania, in conjunction with New Zealand’s Lincoln University, and the world’s foremost university in agriculture and forestry, Wageningen Research Academy.
Described as a mini-Masters of Business Administration (MBA), the Masterclass runs for 10 months, and provides a comprehensive, affordable and, with the majority of the course conducted online, accessible education program.
Better still, it has the built-in flexibility to accommodate anyone looking to further develop their career in horticulture –no matter what industry they are currently a part of, whether they’re a business owner or just starting out.
A strict maximum intake of 30 students ensures dedicated one-to-one delivery that is tailored to each student’s unique situation and needs.
Course content focuses on high-level leadership and management skills through topics such as people and culture, finance and marketing, supply chain management, global trends and business development and strategy.
The flexible online delivery means course material is accessible to students when it suits them – enabling them to work around the demands of their current careers.
This is supported by three face-to-face intensive sessions, which include visits to businesses across Australia and the opportunity to learn from and connect with the industry’s current innovators and leaders.
With the second year of students nearing the completion of the program, the Masterclass has already produced award-winning graduates, including NAB Agribusiness Exporter of the Year, Hugh Reardon (Dicky Bill), and 2018 Victorian Young Grower of the Year, Daniel Hammond.
2019 APPLICATIONS CLOSE DECEMBER 10

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
There are several industry scholarships available for the 2019 class worth $10,000 each.
To apply for one of these scholarships, simply choose the scholarship for the industry you are from when prompted during the application. Please note Scholarship applications must be received by November 19th.
