    What was it all about?

    This investment facilitated the 2018 Australian Melon Industry Conference & Field Days, held from September 17 to 20 this year. This event was about helping growers access and share knowledge, including the latest technical and practical information, and providing an opportunity for connecting with supply chain partners and research providers.

    The welcome event was on the evening of September 17 on Magnetic Island, while the conference portion took place across September 18 and 19 at the Mercure Townsville, and the field day portion was held on September 20 at Kenrose Co in Rita Island, not too far from the Ayr CBD.
