A snapshot of the 2025/26 dried grape marketing campaign

Publication date: October 12, 2026

Article-MU-Dried-grape-2025-26

Hort Innovation is responsible for investing the dried grape marketing levy into activities that support demand and export growth. Here is a quick look at what happened during the year...

An export program, delivered by Dried Fruits Australia (DFA), focused on building demand and export opportunities for Australian dried grapes by showcasing the industry to international buyers, gathering market intelligence and supporting new and existing trade relationships.

Insights that drove our thinking

The program’s direction was informed by the need to identify export markets and niches with demand and growth potential for quality Australian dried grapes. Trade events provided a practical way to present Australian products to international buyers and gather first-hand insights about changing market conditions.

The program also focused on higher-value snacking and baking opportunities, where the quality and attributes of Australian dried grapes could support competitive returns for industry and growers.

What did the campaign achieve?
  • Anuga, Germany | October 2025: The Australian dried grape industry exhibited at Anuga in Cologne through a shared booth involving Dried Fruits Australia, Sunbeam Foods and Australian Premium Dried Fruit. The event attracted more than 145,000 food professionals from 110 countries and regions. It provided a platform to showcase Australian dried grapes, gather insights and strengthen customer relationships in Europe.
  • Seoul Food & Hotel, Republic of Korea | June 2026: The industry exhibited at Seoul Food & Hotel to explore opportunities in the Korean market. More than 45,000 food professionals from 49 countries and regions attended. The shared stand featured industry and processor content and supported introductions to potential customers, market learning and discussion of higher-value snacking and baking opportunities.
  • Supporting industry promotion: Trade event activity was supported through industry communications, social media, the Australian Sultanas and Dried Fruits Australia websites.
