    What is it all about?

This project is highlighting and showcasing the significant outcomes and tangible benefits of grower levy investments in research and development (R&D) through the delivery of in-person seminars, online webinars and video resources.

The Annual Vegetable Industry Seminar (2025-2027) will be held in parallel with Hort Connections, the industry’s leading horticulture conference, to ensure strong grower interest and attendance. Digital recordings of the seminar will also be made available via AUSVEG and Hort Connections communications channels to ensure access for those unable to attend in person. To complement the annual seminar, three additional webinars will be hosted each year to further extend the project’s reach.

Seminars and webinars will feature topics aligned with the Vegetable Industry Strategic Plan (SIP) and showcase the outcomes and benefits of levy-funded projects, the latest innovations, and cutting-edge technology from around the world. Expert speakers, both national and international, will present insights, with dedicated sessions highlighting key R&D projects.

The project broadens the reach of R&D investments, ensuring the largest possible cohort of growers across the national vegetable industry benefit from critical insights. The seminars will also support growers in enhancing their profitability and production efficiency by showcasing the latest technologies and innovations and providing valuable tools to help industry navigate a challenging business landscape.
