Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Managing and evaluating banana diversity for Fusarium wilt resistance (BA26003).

Delivery partners are welcome to respond to individual, or all, parts of the scope of work for the project.

The objectives of the services being sought are to:

• evaluate TR4 and R1 resistant varieties and finalise industry fact sheets on variety characteristics to support informed decision making
• provide commercialisation support for promising varieties
• maintain high value genetic materials
• continue engagement with domestic banana researchers, international banana breeding programs, and banana scientific forums to identify promising varieties
• import promising varieties, if required, through post-entry quarantine

Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
