The combustibility of turf lawns report

This report provides a scientifically validated basis for the promotion of the bushfire protection benefits of living turfs. Buffalo, couch and kikuyu are three commonly used Australian turf varieties which were tested at various fuel moisture contents.

This resource was produced as part of the Hort Innovation Turf Fund project Conveying the benefits of living turf – a bushfire retardant (TU17008).
