Hort Innovation is responsible for investing the persimmon marketing levy into a range of activities to grow awareness and consumption, under the Hort Innovation Persimmon Fund.
The 2017 persimmon campaign finished in June and Hort Innovation is now working with industry to prepare and develop a plan for next year’s activity. This new campaign will build on the strength of the industry’s social media presence generated in previous years. The key messages will focus on seasonality and leverage the excitement consumers feel when they discover persimmons. The plan is expected to be finalised early in the new year.
