All industries contribute to an across industry program that addresses issues affecting all of horticulture.  Many of the projects funded would be difficult for industries to conduct on an individual basis.

Recommendations on how across industry program funds are invested are made by the Across Industry Committee (AIC). The AIC is a committee of HAL and was established in November 2002.
