Industry Advisory Committees (IACs) are integral to the success of Horticulture Australia Limited (HAL). These committees facilitate the two-way communication of essential information between industry sectors and HAL. Through a partnership between industry and HAL, market focused and industry responsive marketing and R&D programs are developed and implemented. The following guidelines have been prepared in consultation with industry and are consistent with the Deed of Agreement with the Commonwealth and the HAL Company Constitution. They provide a framework for the establishment of IACs whilst maintaining the flexibility desired by individual industries.
